Budget: Thomas Preti Caterers offers a Cape Cod-style picnic that includes New England lobster rolls; baby artichoke, purple potato, and fava bean salad; fresh whole fruit; corn bread; double fudge brownies; and beverages for $35 per guest.
Mid-Price: Give your gathering a little Latin flavor with Chef & Company’s buffet of salmon, red snapper, and bay scallop ceviche served with plantain, yucca, and taro chips and panko crusted crab cakes with Scotch bonnet tartar sauce, plus grilled corn, jicama slaw, and coconut flan, for $49.95 a head.

Splurge: Go all out with a surf-and-turf meal catered by Clambakes by Jim Sanford. For $90 a person, Sanford will grill strip steaks and steam clams, Maine lobster, chicken, and smoked sausage, along with onions, corn on the cob, and potatoes. Plates, napkins, utensils, and watermelon for dessert are included.
