Local catering company Food for Thought recently introduced Food Box, a new division devoted to in-office catering. Offering box breakfasts and lunches as well as soups, salads, beverages, and desserts, the service caters to groups of 10 to 300. For full-scale events, the Food Box team can accommodate as many as 1,000 guests.

Individual boxes serve between 10 and 20 guests. The scone box (priced from $20 to $40) comes filled with cinnamon-pecan, chocolate chip, and blueberry treats. The sandwich buffet box (priced from $65 to $120) offers items like chipotle chicken caesar wraps or roast beef sandwiches. The guacamole and salsa box (which runs from $25 to $45) is served with homemade tortilla chips. Food for Thought staffers can deliver to offices and event spaces in the city and suburbs, as well as provide setup and utensils.
