4. 'AMALIE' ACTRESS NAMED CANNES OFFICIANT: French actress Audrey Tautou was named mistress of ceremonies for next month's Cannes film festival. Women's Wear Daily: "The Amélie star walked the red carpet in Prada at Cannes last year, when her film Thérèse Desqueyroux was screened at the closing ceremony of the prestigious festival. For the 66th edition of the event, she will preside over both the opening ceremony on May 15 and the prize-giving conclusion on May 26."

COAST TO COAST: The Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women will take place in New York and Los Angeles next month. Emma Stone and Olivia Wilde will host the New York event May 4, and Halle Berry will host in Los Angeles on May 11 with co-hosts Brooke Anderson of Entertainment Tonight and Dancing with the Stars' Carrie Ann Inaba. The event raises money to support women's cancer research, counseling, and outreach programs.

CHICAGO: Here's an interesting menu idea: Journeyman Distillery will join 2 Sparrows for a "Bacon & Bourbon Bonanza" during Chicago's Whiskey Fest April 26. The dinner's courses are inspired by breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, and the meal includes French toast with whiskey-maple syrup, a PB&J grilled cheese with bacon, and a chocolate-bacon brownie.
Modern Vintage Chicago will take place April 20-21 at Plumber's Hall. The show has more than 90 vendors and new attractions including the "Gentleman's Quarters" with cufflinks, vintage sunglasses, and more; vintage makeup touch-ups from Estée Lauder and Saks Fifth Avenue; a DJ spinning '60s hits; and old-school cocktails from Market Bar.

TORONTO: Drake Hotel Properties is opening its first stand-alone restaurant, Drake One Fifty, in early summer at 150 York Street. The restaurant will be available for private bookings.
The Stop's Night Market, a fund-raising event held in the Honest Ed's alleyway and parking lot, will be held over two nights this year to meet demand for tickets.
