A New Event-Friendly Yogurt Shop

Boutique frozen yogurt shops have officially invaded Washington, bringing to Dupont Circle TangySweet, which opened earlier this summer. The focus may be on the shop’s tart frozen yogurt (in classic, green tea, and pomegranate flavors) and fresh berry and cereal toppings, but TangySweet also offers its industrial-style, eco-friendly space for yogurt-catered events. The 1,100-square-foot shop, which has concrete floors, recycled acrylic tables, and color-changing LED lighting, can hold 150 people for receptions. TangySweet is also working on catering options for larger, off-site events.
