A Tasty Outing
DC Metro Food Tours now offers themed three-hour guided walks of Capitol Hill that explore the area's food, history, and architecture. Groups visit three or more locally owned restaurants and historic Eastern Market for samples of local fare. A three-hour tour costs $50 per person, with a 10 percent discount for groups of 10 or more.
In-Office Treats
Eatery Sweetgreen not only has added a new Dupont Circle location, but it can now deliver its selections of salads and wraps. What's more, the shop's dessert offerings are available via the new Sweetflow Mobile truck, which can reward groups with yogurt and fresh fruit and crunch toppings.
Wining and Dining
Chef Michael Mina opened his new Bourbon Steak in the Four Seasons Hotel in January. Mina is best known for organic beef poached in butter and finished on a wood-burning grill. The Georgetown restaurant includes a 24-seat private dining room with linen wall coverings and large windows overlooking the C & O Canal and Rock Creek Park.
