Sabor Saveur opened in Ukrainian Village in October 2009. The entire venue can seat 70. For smaller groups, a back room with lofted ceilings, an exposed kitchen, and two communal tables can seat 40 or host receptions for 50.
Originally from just outside Mexico City, and formerly employed at the Ritz-Carlton in Paris, chef Yanitzin Sanchez specializes in French-Mexican-fusion cuisine. Her menu includes pumpkin-flower-cream-cheese taquitos aromatized with pomegranate; filet mignon topped with pumpkin seeds and served with sweet-potato-and-coconut croquettes, and baked chile poblano relleno stuffed with walnuts and ricotta cheese. For events, Sanchez can prepare buffets, family-style entrees, or just appetizers.
The restaurant can also cater off-site functions.
