Converted Loft Makes a Unique Event Space

Carol-Ann Ross, the owner of SWAG Events in New York, has converted one of the Parc lofts into a venue that can be used for a variety of events such as product launches, business luncheons, or receptions. The 3,600-square-foot space was renovated in late May, and is ready to host events for 80 people seated or 200 reception-style. The decor is minimal and modern, with a color palette of black, white, and gray. An art collection provides bursts of color. Dinners can be held at a 16-foot communal table with 12 dining chairs—each a unique work of art. The space is littered with upholstered furnishings, which can be moved to create more room. It also has 15-foot ceilings with exposed conduits that give the loft a factory feel. SWAG's staff can accommodate every need from decor and entertainment to audiovisual equipment and catering.
