At the launch party for Express's flagship store in SoHo, the denim-centric retailer for twentysomethings gave guests a custom-fit gift: a denim mini skirt. As the female guests left the event, Express reps asked for their size, and then handed them a shopping bag with the appropriate skirt, along with denim-related goodies like store coupons, Nylon magazine's jeans issue and a copy of Genius, a book filled with glossy pics of fashion labels' denim goods.
