Created by husband-and-wife team and nightclub veterans Jesse Sprague and Jenny Song, CirKiz hopes to inspire the next generation of electronic music fans. The kid-centric daytime dance party, which is held at the Cielo club in New York’s meatpacking district, boasts the latest hits (spun by the couple’s 8-year-old son), professional dancers, juice boxes, and lots of glowing flair. Birthday party packages for 6- to 12-year-olds are available during the general admission events, which take place monthly, and include one and a half to three hours of dancing, performances, and activities.
The premium, or “celebrity,” option offers a roped-off V.I.P. area, a performance by the Dream Lab’s LED robot, DJ and dance lessons, and goodie bags; add-ons, such as T-shirts and a photographer, are provided for an additional fee; pricing is available upon request.
