


Lollapalooza celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. The milestone was marked in special signage that featured a pink 25 topped with birthday candles.


The floor can also be an unexpected place for logos, sponsor information, or branding. The TEDActive conference in 2013 took over some of the host venue's Spanish tiles for its own messaging. The special tiles at La Quinta resort in the Palm Springs area also guided attendees along the walkways to the various event venues on the sprawling property.

Jack Morton Worldwide's London office created Kodak's booth, which was inspired by themes of urban regeneration and the analog renaissance. The booth included the movie-theater-theme "Kodak Theater," which invited attendees to check out a gallery of Ektra Smartphone images and screenings of Super 8 Camera test footage.




In June, Delta launched a marketing campaign geared toward New Yorkers that included its "Pilot Talk" mural. Consumers were invited to visit the massive painted wall on North 10th Street and Wythe Avenue in Brooklyn, which displayed the pilot’s alphabet (the official language of airline pilots e.g., Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc.). In June and July, folks could enter the #PilotTalkSweepstakes to win a pair of round-trip tickets by snapping photos of the pilot’s alphabet to spell out a city (or airport code) they wanted to visit and then posting the images to Instagram. Eight separate walls were installed throughout New York.

Michael Bublé’s Edge Lit Heart is a kinetic light sculpture inspired by Canadian singer's album Love (stylized as the red heart emoji). The sculpture incorporates hundreds of animated LEDs to light eleven acrylic panels. Toronto-based visual artist Craig Small created the sculpture.Â
