At the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS' Dining by Design benefit, interior designer Gary Gibson's table for Profiles featured a lavender, peanut-shaped table decorated with green flowers and ivory lanterns suspended in circular cages.

A collage of large sequins showed Cyndi Lauper's face, and pictures of pop icons—including Madonna, Michael Jackson and Cher—adorned the plates in David Rockwell's take-off on celebrity culture. Books covered in red velvet and labeled "Secrets" sat inside individual slots in the table, and small test tube-sized vases sat in holes in its surface.

Interior designer David Easton adorned furniture company Henredon's table with large arrangements of red tulips, red plates and a chandelier decked with small red lampshades.

Tiffany's Robert Rufino designed a towering centerpiece of white feathers dripping with strings of iridescent beads and surrounded by small bunches of white flowers at the base, plus furry touches like a white rug and marabou boas draped the backs of the chairs.
