Also incorporated into the color scheme were the outfits the waitstaff wore. SPEC worked with Mary Giuliani Catering to execute the idea, which had male servers in white shirts with red bow ties and suspenders.

The tables were dressed with custom '50s-style lampshades in blue and red. Amanda Davis designed the bespoke shades and turned to Lotus Lampshades to manufacture them in rich silks, brocades, beads, and tassels, working from an 18th-century stone chapel in rural Wales.

Models greeted guests in costumes meant to evoke the look of goddesses, on-brand for sponsor Venus. Further integrating the three participating brands was a green screen photo opp that allowed guests to snap images as they would appear on a CoverGirl, Olay, or Venus magazine cover. Live upload to social media and email was available.

The 1950s theme came to life in an area made to look like an old-fashioned ice cream shop, where servers wore period costumes.

Two staffers dressed in steampunk costumes carrying an oversize (but lightweight) gilded frame wandered the reception room, encouraging guests to pose for photos while framed inside. A stationary green-screen photo booth was also set up in the foyer, along with steampunk accessories such as goggles, hats, and parasols.
