More than 800 gathered in Manhattan's Lower East Side for Thrillist's third annual Best Day of Your Life, celebrating the longest day of the year on June 21. The many attractions included Samsung's "Museum of Instagrammable Moments," which allowed guests to have their photos taken with live-artist exhibits, including a moving backdrop of an aerial view of New York City that prompted guests to jump on a trampoline.

At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, popularly known as E3, Disney Interactive showcased Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, the latest in the hybrid toy-game series. Attendees of the event at the Los Angeles Convention Center, held June 16 to 18, passed into the booth through a custom-built illuminated entryway known as the Disney Infinity Figure Arch, which displayed all of the figures that have ever been released.


Bacardi Limited promoted its newest product, Dewar's Scratched Cask, by creating multisensory tasting experiences that involved projection mapping and virtual reality in Miami, Chicago, New York, and Louisville, Kentucky. The experience featured a 10-foot replica of the oak barrels used to make the whiskey, which inside displayed a 90-second video projected in 360 degrees. As many as four people at a time could step inside the barrel to watch the video projected onto interior walls. Heat lamps and scent machines inside the barrel were synced with the video to enhance the sensory experience.

City of Hope's Spirit of Life Gala took place November 5 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Krislyn Design reimagined a tribute journal as an eye-catching art installation of 3-D letters at the entrance of the fund-raiser. The handcrafted structure, which was made from plywood and individually printed panels, was also a photo op for attendees.


Yahoo showcased the brand’s digital magazine content through projections on a cube set up near the entrance of the venue during the daytime. For evening events like the Community and Sin City Saints parties, images from the shows were shown.

Macy's partnered with LeadDog Marketing Group to produce the Macy's Oasis, which gave festivalgoers a chance to relax with lounge furniture and a charging station. Along with bandanas soaked in ice water, the lounge had a string art wall created by attendees.

LeSportsac hosted a media event for a group of editors for the launch of its new bag collection on April 7 at the Glasshouses in New York. Designed by Tinsel & Twine, the event featured a silver, white, and blue balloon canopy installation that was reflected on a mirrored-top table.
