
Experiential marketing agency MKG launched a humorous activation in New York on December 18, which involved a branded truck that gave perfectly shaped clean snowballs to passersby. MKG employees dressed in winter jackets and hats handed out the snowballs, which served as a clean alternative to the city's usual dirty snow. MKG's Dani Skollar said the point was to present the balls as a product, inspired by the idea of a pet rock or goldfish that you would win at a carnival.

On November 6, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Mad Hatter Fashion Show and Luncheon showcased Fall 2015 designer collections from Bloomingdale’s at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. The event also featured a whimsical cake shaped like the Mad Hatter's signature accessory.

Groupon hosted a "007"-theme holiday party December 11 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Event Creative decked the venue with 007-inspired decor. One of the evening's interactive activities, or "missions," was to snap a photo in front of a step-and-repeat featuring a spy plane.

A long custom bar from Event Creative was stationed on the first floor. The illuminated bar had the image of a safe embossed with Groupon's "G" logo.

Luxury Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo ended its 100-days-long centennial celebration on December 8 with a Hollywood set that was built inside New York's Industria Superstudio. Produced by Bureau Betak, the event paid homage to Ferragamo's Hollywood heritage with various installations modeled after a film set. More than 200 customized products featured the Ferragamo logo, including scripts, film reels, hat boxes, and beach towels.

A customized DJ booth was inspired by the iconic Ferragamo rainbow wedge sandal that resides in the brand's museum in Florence, Italy.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens had its world premiere on December 14 in three theaters on Hollywood Boulevard: Dolby Theatre, El Capitan, and TCL Chinese Theatre. The premiere party, which took place in a tent that spanned a quarter-mile, featured an eye-catching display of lightsabers.
