For Bergdorf Goodman's anniversary party, guests gathered for cocktails in the Plaza's Terrace Room before being ushered into the Grand Ballroom. Inside the reception space, the production team placed imported trimmed topiaries amidst the property's gilded ceiling and chandeliers.

An eclectic mix of lounge furniture—the chairs came from Bergdorf's—helped set the eccentric tone of the evening's decor. Forty trees were positioned throughout the venue, while modern floral arrangements of calla lilies, hydrangeas, roses, sweet peas, anemones, scabies, delphinium, clematis and concord grapes, pomegranates, and figs dotted the mirrored tabletops.

In keeping with Bergdorf's concept of fantasy, a series of taxidermied animals decorated the event, including a polar bear cub, albino peacocks, and other wild animals.

For the first hour of the event, before the doors opened to the Grand Ballroom, violinist Emily Holden performed as part of a quartet.

With 13 cloud-like shapes spun from pure raw cotton suspended overhead, Van Wyck & Van Wyck bathed the Grand Ballroom in Bergdorf's signature hue by changing out the room's chandeliers with 300 hand-dipped lavender light bulbs.

Following the birthday cake presentation, the all-white clad '80s tribute band, Rubik's Cube, performed from the stage, keeping guests dancing late into the night on a high gloss black dance floor.
