Reinvestment and Development in Atlantic City

Atlantic City is reinvesting in new event spaces for the “bleisure” traveler.

Have you visited Atlantic City recently? If yes, then you already know about all the new developments happening in our seaside resort. If not, then we welcome you to come visit and experience all that Atlantic City has to offer.

Here are just some of the new offerings available at our destination:

  • AtlantiCare ceremoniously broke ground on a $38.3 million Medical Arts Pavilion in Atlantic City. The three-story, 69,700-square-foot facility will enable AtlantiCare to expand the care it provides.
  • Atlantic City will play a big role in the offshore wind energy industry. Atlantic Cape Community College plans to open a wind energy workforce training center on its city campus in the fall, and wind developer Orsted hopes to start work in 2022 on a maintenance and operations center in Atlantic City to support its offshore wind projects in the area.
  • Stockton University broke ground on Phase II of the Atlantic City Campus, which will feature a residential dormitory expansion. The project is set for completion in 2023.
  • Tropicana Atlantic City has announced that it will debut eight new dining and entertainment concepts starting this summer, and will undergo gaming enhancements to further the resort's evolution.
  • Resorts Casino Hotel is renovating its rooftop pool, adding a retractable roof to enable it to be used year-round.
  • Hard Rock Atlantic City is reinvesting a minimum of $20 million in capital improvements that include suite renovations, a new Starbucks, more slots and table games, a new dining outlet, and a refresh of beachfront amenities.
  • Caesars Entertainment is set to invest $400 million into its Atlantic City Resorts. Enhancements to Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Resort, and Tropicana Atlantic City are expected to be completed by 2023.
  • Caesars Entertainment and Nobu Hospitality announced the expansion of their partnership with a new project coming to Atlantic City. Nobu Hotel in Atlantic City is set to open in the summer of 2022.
  • Bally's Atlantic City has begun construction for The Yard, which will debut in early summer 2022. The Yard, nestled between the Dennis Towers, is over 10,000 square feet with 5,000 square feet of new construction.
  • DSD broke ground on 8.4 MW Solar Portfolio with Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City.
