LAS VEGAS—Here's a look at new Las Vegas eateries, nightclubs, outdoor venues, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces for all types of fall meetings and events. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, fund-raisers, business dinners, teambuilding activities, client entertaining, meetings, weddings, and more.
Mama Rabbit Bar

Mama Rabbit Bar opened at Park MGM in August. The Oaxacan-inspired concept features the most extensive collection of tequila and mezcal in the U.S. with more than 500 labels, and it also serves modern interpretations of classic Mexican cocktails and light bites. The interior features a colorful pop-surrealist mural from Okuda San Miguel, with the designing extending to several slot machines shaped as animals. The 4,400-square-foot space holds 424 guests standing, and is available for full buyouts.

Sahara Las Vegas

Sahara Las Vegas, formerly the SLS Las Vegas, opened under its new name in August. The property has 1,615 guest rooms and suites in three towers, and 95,000 square feet of meeting space that includes a 9,000-square-foot ballroom that holds 673 people for receptions; a 6,000-square-foot space that seats 506 theater style; and a pool area that holds 2,000 people for receptions. The resort also is home to Bazaar Meat by José Andrés, which can hold private reception-style events for as many as 500 people.

Trustworthy Brewing Co. & BBQ

Trustworthy Brewing Co. & BBQ opened at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Palazzo in July. The 15,000-square-foot brewery specializes in small batch beers brewed on site and features a barbecue menu helmed by chef Lloyd Bansil. The venue has five private and semiprivate spaces for meetings and events, including the Beer Garden, which holds 90 seated or 150 standing; the Barrel room, which holds 100 seated or 150 standing; and the Bill Murray room, which holds 30 seated or 50 standing. In total, the brewery seats 450 or holds 650 for receptions.

Chosun Hwaro & Nara Teppan

Korean barbecue restaurant Chosun Hwaro & Nara Teppan opened at Miracle Miles Shops at Planet Hollywood in July. The first U.S. restaurant from Korean-based company Edabom features teppanyaki tables with grills in the center for an authentic Korean barbecue experience. The 13,000-square-foot restaurant seats 485 guests. The venue also has six V.I.P. rooms, which can be combined to seat 76 guests.

Tim Ho Wan

Dim sum franchise Tim Ho Wan opened at Palms Casino Resort in September. The restaurant offers the concept’s staples such as baked barbecue pork buns and steamed shrimp dumplings, as well as its first cocktail and spirits menu, which includes several Japanese whiskies. The 5,055-square-foot restaurant seats 145 in a main dining room—which features an exhibition cooking area in the center—and 26 at a wood-wrapped cocoon bar. The venue also has a 10-seat private dining room.

Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles

Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles opened at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa in June, as part of the property’s 20th anniversary renovation. Chef Ayoung Chang's menu offers Chinese, Japanese, and Pan-Asian cuisine, along with craft cocktails. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant seats 250 guests or holds 400 people standing. The venue offers semiprivate group dining and full buyouts.

Ambra Italian Kitchen & Bar

Ambra Italian Kitchen & Bar opened at the MGM Grand in August. The restaurant specializes in Italian classics and shareable dishes including a seafood tower, as well as craft cocktails. The design of the restaurant is inspired by Milan, while a speakeasy, Privata, features an interior inspired by Italian sports cars. The 10,888-square-foot restaurant holds about 300 guests in spaces including a 133-seat main dining room, a bar and lounge that seats 92, and a private dining room that seats 56 people. Private events can be booked for groups of 13 or more, and special menus are offered if requested in advance.

Terra Rossa

Italian eatery Terra Rossa returned to Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in August, replacing Masso Osteria. Helmed by executive chef Dan Rossi, the restaurant specializes in traditional Italian cuisine with many dishes served family style. The 4,000-square-foot restaurant has an 800-square-foot patio and seats 185 guests in total. The venue also seats 15 guests in a private dining room.

Sixth & Mill

Sixth & Mill, a pizzeria and bar from Factory Place Hospitality Group, opened its second location at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian in September. The restaurant specializes in Southern Italian fare, with a menu helmed by chef Angelo Auriana. The venue seats 130 guests total and is available for buyouts for groups as small as 50 and as large as 110 seated or 170 standing. Groups of 10 to 60 guests can book non-private events, with groups seated at tables of 10 to 12 seats.

The Crack Shack

The Crack Shack, a fried chicken eatery launched by Michael Rosen and Top Chef winner Richard Blais, opened a Las Vegas outpost at Park MGM in August. Along with fried chicken, the restaurant specializes in chicken sandwiches, egg dishes for breakfast, salads, and cocktails. For events, the 6,400-square-foot restaurant offers full buyouts for as many as 250 for receptions; a private patio for as many as 100 for receptions; half the venue for semiprivate events for as many as 100 standing; and communal table reservations for 10 to 40 guests.
