Here's a look at Las Vegas's new spaces open for events this fall. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
A note regarding COVID-19: At BizBash, we're still committed to bringing you ideas and inspiration for when (yes, when!) events are back up and running. Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to the pandemic, or they may be operating at a lower capacity.
Barry's Downtown Prime

Circa Resort & Casino—the first adults-only resort in Las Vegas—is slated to open in December. But the 1.25-million-square-foot resort and casino, which will have the world's largest sports book and pool complex, is opening portions of its restaurants and retail operations this month. One highlight slated to debut Oct. 28 is Barry's Downtown Prime, a steak and seafood spot from chef Barry S. Dakake. The elegant eatery has a variety of private dining options, including the Chef's Table (pictured), which seats 12 or holds 18 for receptions. Other spaces include the 24-seat Garden Room or the semiprivate Main St. Room, which seats 36 or holds 72 for receptions. Four additional rooms seat between 12 and 36 people; there's also the private Pioneer Club lounge that can be booked for cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres. Decor highlights include a glowing rose-inspired ceiling, plus curated artwork from local artists.

Oddwood

Located inside AREA15, a 200,000-square-foot entertainment complex that opened in September, is Oddwood, a colorful new cocktail lounge from Corner Bar Management. The highlight of the 2,500-square-foot venue is a 23-foot-tall digital maple tree made from 5,000 individually programmed LED leaves, all of which change colors depending on the beat of the music. The rest of the venue is filled with large-scale murals, plus a mix of brass, bronze, and wood bar tops and surfaces. The psychedelic space can hold 122 people.

Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium, the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders, opened in August and is available for private events. Located adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip, the property has over 10 different event spaces that can host a wide variety of gatherings, from small events for 25 to a 65,000-person venue buyout. Highlights include the Coors Light Landing (pictured), which holds 2,500 and is located next to the Al Davis Memorial Torch. For a fun touch, the venue can also arrange appearances from the Raiderettes, alumni or current players, or the Raider Rusher; additional event add-ons include in-house audiovisual capabilities, video boards, stadium tours, and more. The stadium is operated by ASM Global.

Lucky Day Tequila & Mezcal House opened on Fremont Street in September. Operated by Corner Bar Management, the 3,000-square-foot bar offers a selection of rare mezcals, small-batch tequilas, and signature cocktails, complemented by housemade tortilla chips, salsa fresca, and guacamole flights. Overhead is a canopy of 15,000 colorful, programmable LED lights; the space is also filled with eccentric art and eye-catching artifacts—”a shrine to all who pass through the underbelly of Vegas,” as the owners call it. Lucky Day can hold 79 people for events.

Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino

Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino opened its new 495-room Gallery Tower in September. The first new hotel tower constructed downtown in more than a decade, the 250,000-square-foot venue offers three 1,500-square-foot penthouse suites, plus a mix of studio and one-bedroom rooms—bringing the Downtown Grand's total room inventory to 1,124 hotel rooms. An added bonus? The Gallery Tower is the only venue on the property with direct access to the Citrus Grand Pool Deck (pictured), which offers more than 35,000 square feet of event space, an infinity pool, and semiprivate cabanas. The tower also offers easy access to the property's 25,000-square-foot casino, dining options, and entertainment venues. The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino originally opened in 2013.

Discopussy

Taking over Fremont Street's Red Nightclub is Discopussy, a new space from Corner Bar Management that opened in July. The hip 6,500-square-foot club, which holds 500 people, is best known for its eye-catching "Disco-Octopus." Covering the entire ceiling of the venue, the custom-built light is made from 10,000 laser-cut components illuminated by 5,000 individual, light-emitting diodes. The lights can be programmed to change with the music, and the octopus head is made from—what else?—a gigantic disco ball. The chandelier was created by Studio Annwn in collaboration with Future TBD and Building 180.

The Tea Terrace

British high tea may not immediately come to mind when you think of Sin City. But that may change with the September opening of The Tea Terrace, an eclectic, flower-filled spot on South Rainbow Boulevard. The garden-inspired indoor venue—which also serves cold meats, pickled fish, freshly baked scones, fruit cakes, and more—features a main room that holds 16, plus a smaller private room that can hold parties of six people. Special menus are available for business events, bridal showers, birthdays, and other events.

Adrenaline Mountain

Previously known as Shoot Las Vegas, outdoor entertainment complex Adrenaline Mountain reopened in September after taking over an additional 300 acres of natural desert canyon just 30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. No longer just a shooting range, the venue now offers a variety of activities for thrill-seekers, such as axe-throwing, off-roading tours in UTVs, machine gun and archery ranges, and much more. (In the future, owners plan to add Las Vegas's longest zipline.) Adrenaline Mountain offers a variety of event spaces, including a small amphitheater, an outdoor desert chapel for weddings, a tented reception area with fire pits, and a 20,000-square-foot outdoor space situated on the historic Yellow Pine Mine. RVs can be rented for overnight stays.

Las Vegas Convention Center

Planning ahead? West Hall, the $980 million expansion to the Las Vegas Convention Center, is on track to open in December. The new hall will add 1.4 million feet to the venue, including 600,000 square feet of exhibit space—more than half of it column-free—plus a 14,000-square-foot outdoor terrace that holds 2,000 people for receptions. West Hall also features a grand atrium with a 10,000-square-foot Samsung digital screen, as well as 41 loading docks and a whopping 80 meeting rooms. West Hall will be accessible from other parts of the convention center campus via an underground transport system being built by Elon Musk's Boring Company.
