Vikram Chatwal, who launched the Dream Hotel in 2004, opened his third boutique property in Times Square in April. Designed by Mark Zeff (also responsible for the Dream) the Night Hotel has 72 rooms with oversized chariot beds, Wi-Fi connections, custom-designed black and white iPods, and other modern amenities. Additional.phpects of the hotel include mirrored panels on the building’s facade, wrought-iron gates, a black and white interior, a marble staircase, and exterior lighting projections of the hotel’s signature “N.” Alex Friej (owner of Chelsea’s Diner 24) will operate the restaurant and lounge Nightlife, which will open in May and offer an international menu. —Anna Sekula
