The duo behind the catering firm Food Art Group, David Myers—chef at Sona and Comme Ça restaurants—and Jerry Baker, are now offering more than just their culinary creations with the new cocktail catering service Eighteenth Amendment, named after the Constitutional add-on that ushered in Prohibition (and the era of the speakeasy and its classic cocktails).
For $90 per guest (and a minimum of 50 guests) two trained mixologists and a cocktail waitress—all sporting Prohibition-era garb—will serve drinks such as the Rumble (rum, lemon, and blackberries) and Penicillin (scotch, ginger, lemon, and honey) made with handmade mixers and ice carved on site to suit each cocktail. The price drops to $50 per guest for events with 400 or more guests.
