After an extended soft opening, the new 50-suite Eldon Luxury Suites hotel recently became fully operational following a total renovation of what was a circa 1929 nine-story apartment building. One block from the Washington Convention Center, the hotel’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites range from 650 to more than 1,500 square feet and are equipped with kitchens that sport full-size stainless steel appliances and black granite countertops.
At Eldon, all floors—from the lobby to the penthouse suites—are covered with an off-white marble, and the walls are fashioned with either marble or birch paneling. Custom modern glass artwork is a key design element throughout.
The venue has no designated meeting space, but the suites are large enough to hold from 10 to 30 guests for a cocktail reception. For additional space, one of the two penthouses has access to a 300-square-foot terrace with city views. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Eldon Luxury Suites is managed by the New Jersey-based Key Management Group, which operates three hotels in Belize.
