How do you pull off the ultimate Star Wars themed event? You take a tip from the experts! At the world premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, event organizers lined the lounge area with futuristic high-boy tables that glowed purple, while themed branding and galaxy-inspired projections covered the walls and ceiling. For large-scale events, a spaceship-inspired stage setup is a must. For its 2016 conference, the Content Marketing Institute's keynote stage design complete with a control panel tied to the conference theme of "Content Strikes Back"—a play on Star Wars, of course—and became a popular backdrop for attendees to use in photos.

What's a space-themed event without a solar system centerpiece? At its 2012 Innovators' Ball, LG placed motorized solar systems on high-top cocktail tables.

Whether used as an interactive prop or photo op, lightsabers are a must at any Star Wars soiree. At the premiere party for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, lightsabers were used for a cool light display.

At the Target and Star Wars Galactic Experience event in 2016, the brand worked with ad agency Deutsch for the public event that featured four domes with interactive experiences, character photo ops, a pop-up shop and other experiences. For an interactive component, guests could make their own Star Wars ornaments with the help of master origami folder Chris Alexander at the origami-building station—an activity easily scalable for at-home events!
