Two nightclubs are each taking up residence in new spaces this year, and will gain square footage in the process, Variety reports. The Conga Room from Brad Gluckstein was originally on the Miracle Mile, and is slated to reopen in October at downtown’s L.A. Live. At 15,000 square feet, the new club will be three times larger than the original and will hold 1,100 people. The space will include a dining room, dance floor, and bar, along with a broadcast pod and editing bay.
Music-and-comedy space Largo from Mark Flanagan recently moved from Fairfax Avenue to the Coronet Theater. The venue now has two performance spaces—one that holds 60, and another that holds 280 for seated events—plus a courtyard and lobby. The previous space accommodated only 130.
