Cari S. Abrams, assistant director of operations and events at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, has accepted a position as senior event specialist at the Getty Museum. Her last day at MOCA will be September 30.
"It feels a little strange to be leaving MOCA after nine years, but I am very excited about this new opportunity and feel confident that it is the right decision at this time," she wrote in an email to colleagues.
Her first day at the Getty will be October 4.
