As 2015 draws to a close, we asked regularly booked event DJs to make a prediction: What will be the most requested song at events in 2016? Here are their selections, along with a playlist to help ring in the New Year on an on-trend note.

DJ Lani Love, who spins for clients such as Uniqlo, predicts that the Weeknd's "Can't Feel my Face" will pack dance floors at events next year. "This track was released early summer, so I expect the hype to carry into next year," she says. "It's the perfect pop song and appeals to all age groups.."

Jerzy, a DJ and B96 radio personality in Chicago, agrees that tracks from the Weeknd will be big in 2016. "The Weeknd had a gigantic second half of 2015 with his summer hit 'Can't Feel My Face,' and now 'The Hills' [is trending]," he says. "Look for the madness to continue in 2016 with 'In The Night.'"

DJ Sinatra spins at venues such as the Hudson Hotel in New York. He chose Justin Bieber's track "Sorry" as a probable party hit for 2016. "It's the most requested now, and I don't see it slowing down," he says.

DJ Saint Clair appears at nightclubs such as OHM in Los Angeles and Cake Nightclub San Diego. She also chose a Justin Bieber hit, "What do You Mean?" as potential hit in 2016. "Ever since the Biebs managed to go from the 'number one person people love to hate' to just 'number one,' I've been getting a ton of requests for the song, regardless of the type of music I'm spinning at the time,” she says.

DJ Samantha Ronson expects to hear plenty of requests for "Hello Bitches" by CL in 2016. Ronson has spun at events for clients such as Hennessy.

DJ Ross One, who spins at popular nightlife venues such as Bijou in Boston, sees no signs of "Uptown Funk" slowing down. "It's guaranteed to work for all ages," he says of the Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson hit.
