Briggs Inc., a destination management company in New York City, recently hosted the sixth annual June Briggs Awards for Destination Management Excellence. The presentation of the awards took place at Sardi’s restaurant in the heart of New York’s theater district. The awards are named in honor of June Briggs, a visionary founder of the destination management industry.The awards honor the valuable partners of destination management companies who have excelled in performance and service in the D.M.C. industry in New York City, based on the previous years’ events. In 2002, Anthony Napoli founded the June Briggs Awards as a part of Briggs’ “Incentives Begin At Home” campaign. Along with the June Briggs Awards, Briggs Inc. also offers its employees an incentive trip every year and rewards its “guide staff” with a tour of New York City led by Mr. Napoli.
