After five years in the wholesale business, Susan Murray International is breaking into the event rental industry with a new range of fabrics and table linens. "We built a new private collection strictly for Susan Murray Rentals," Susan Murray said in an interview, noting that the company offers chair covers, linens, and backdrops. Murray reported that she launched the new division of her manufacturing and distribution company in response to feedback from clients. (Until now her linens have only been available for rent through event rental companies that have purchased the products directly.)
"Our customers have been wanting our product line out there on a rental basis," she said, adding, "we decided the market was missing an edgier look." Murray's new line includes detailed sequined fabrics and Pucci prints.
