Founded earlier this year, City Provisions caters meetings and events with custom menus featuring ingredients from Midwestern farms and local food suppliers. City Provisions recently catered Wrigley's corporate challenge, serving brats from the Illinois-based Faith's Farm, burgers from Wisconsin's Dietzler Farm, and grilled vegetables with rosemary-balsamic syrup. The company makes use of corn- and potato-based disposables and recycles all waste. Beyond catering, City Provisions' can also arrange group outings to local farms such as Faith's. The trips, which can accommodate 47 guests and start at roughly $125 per head, include a farm tour and a meal paired with locally produced wine and beer.
