To lure beauty editors to an event launching Tahitian Noni’s new spa products, Fun by the Basket designed invitations in seashells that included one pearl earring and promised another to guests who attended the event. When the guests showed up at the Hilton New York for the breakfast, they received the second pearl. Full Nelson created Tahiti-inspired props and thatched huts, where staff from Oasis Day Spa provided facials and massages using products from the new line. And when editors made it back to their desks before lunchtime, they had new products for their beauty pages, and a full set of earrings—because if it was cool to wear just one back in the days of Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814, it’s not so much anymore.
