Earlier this month, high-rise condo building Evo opened downtown, offering a variety of event spaces. Part of the South Park neighborhood complex, the building is a 24-story tower of sculpted glass and metal that was made with environmentally responsible construction techniques, incorporating sustainable materials. Event space at Evo is available for residents as well as non-residents.
A rooftop lounge dubbed Two-Forty has 900 square feet of indoor space and 700 square feet of outdoor space featuring views of the city, lounge seating, and a fireplace. The sixth floor of the building features a 10,000-square-foot pool and deck with an outdoor kitchen and bar. An adjacent park area features more than 6,000 feet of landscaped gardens.
Later this year, Evo plans to open Corkbar, a wine bar with an 800-square-foot patio, and Hygge, a pan-European restaurant with 240 seats. Corkbar will be on the ground floor of Evo, and Hygge will be on the ground floor of an adjacent building in the neighborhood.
