Check out these three new spas for rewarding and pampering a stressed-out group.
1. Movies from Hollywood's golden age play in the background of Eleven Spa, which opened in February in Town Square on the south end of the strip. The 20,000-square-foot space has a bright, airy entry and well-appointed treatment rooms. Ken Paves salon stylists handle hair and makeup. An expansive lounge flows into a public area—complete with a kitchen and stage—available for private parties of up to 500 people. A V.I.P. room with a red door has a private entrance.
2. Asian and Moroccan influences dot the Encore Spa at Steve Wynn's Encore. Open since December 2008, the spa offers a wealth of natural sunlight and the sound of flowing water to complement the natural decor. The 61,000-square-foot space offers 37 treatment rooms, garden villas, and couples rooms. The fitness center features a juice bar as well as yoga, spinning, and meditation classes. There is an upbeat salon and barbershop outfitted with gleaming all-white furnishings. A spa shop sells products.
3. Spa Mio at the M Resort opened in March. The 23,000-square-foot full-service spa has 16 treatment rooms. There is a full-service fitness center, plus wet areas with a sauna, steam room, and hot tub. A full-service salon and barbershop are also available. Other amenities include fresh fruit, fruit juices, teas, and water for guests. Individual and group packages are available.
