Exhibition Place—home of the Canadian National Exhibition—has traditionally been a special occasion destination. But Joe Dominelli's new Gossip will be open seven days a week. The spacious venue, which specializes in Mediterranean cuisine and sushi, holds 700 guests for cocktail receptions and has room for another 500 on the patio in seasonable weather. The restaurants interior boasts a rustic, modern design with textured wooden wall paneling, unique overhead lighting and quaint private-style booths inside the main space. A private dining area with a full exposed wine cellar is available. The restaurant also features plasma-screen televisions and an in-house DJ. Patrons can park next door, and off-track horse race betting at dining tables is available. The fee for private corporate events starts at $15 a head. —Robyn Small
