Polson Pier—formerly known as the Docks—is set to open a skate and snowboard park at the waterfront entertainment complex tomorrow. The Ripley’s Urban Rail Park is the latest addition to the 23-acre facility, which features multiple venues and a giant outdoor playground. Jim Brace, owner of JBR Designs, created the man-made snow hill, which is designed to cater to every level of rider. Emil Barclay, owner of Friendly Skateboards, designed the 16,000-square-foot indoor skate park. Polson Pier is also currently renovating the Sound Academy, the facility’s concert theatre. The entertainment venue can be booked for teambuilding and corporate events. In-house catering and customized menus are available.
