Affordable Old-Fashioned Sandwiches

Reggie's Old-Fashioned Sandwiches—a new 24-hour café on King Street West—has a selection of salads, soups, and hot and cold sandwiches for delivery throughout the city. Owned and operated by the team behind Joy Bistro, the restaurant takes a homemade approach to the menu. "We roast all our meats and cure our own fish," said chef Bryan Burke. The eatery also makes its own sauces and preserves, and uses bread and rolls from Fred's Bread. The pulled pork sandwich with caramelized onions, mozzarella, and barbecue sauce is a popular choice, and cold creations like hummus wraps and avocado and egg salad are also available. Everything on the menu is priced under $8. Catering is available for groups, but delivery charges may apply.
