Trader Launches in London

Doubledown Media’s New York-based event planner Rachel Pine—the mind behind the Justice mag launch —pulled off another big stunt, with the European launch of Trader Monthly in London. Il Bottaccio—a Georgian mansion right behind Buckingham Palace—played host to burlesque dancers, casino games, a cigar roller from London’s hip Cuban restaurant La Floridita, and lots of liquids from sponsor Chivas Regal. We hear the monied traders in the crowd enjoyed the guy-centric theme. “The traders [in London] are way wilder than the ones in the U.S.,” Pine says. “No idea why, but they are very naughty boys.”
