The buying spree continues. In a continuing effort to ramp up its East Coast presence, Los Angeles-based Classic Party Rentals announced today the acquisition of four new rental houses, bringing the company's total locations to 34. Among the purchases are Capital Party Rentals in Dulles, Virginia; Event Rentals in Chantilly, Virginia; Special Event Rentals in Raleigh, North Carolina; and two Low Country Event Rentals in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia.
In a statement issued today, Classic C.E.O. John Campanelli said, “We are thrilled to be able to better serve the greater Washington, D.C., market, strengthen our presence in Raleigh, North Carolina, and enter the markets of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia. Our East Coast network is substantially enhanced with this acquisition.”The release went on to say that each new location will have a sister store within a few hours' driving distance, which will allow for additional inventory. This news comes on the heels of the December announcement that the company had acquired New York's TriServe.
