SEXIST SWAG AT HARVARD TECH EVENT: At a Harvard computer science conference geared toward women, sponsor Goldman Sachs made news for its choice of giveaways: nail files and mirrors, which bore the bank’s logo. Events DC and the Convention Industry Council Tuesday unveiled a redesigned CIC Hall of Leaders recognition pavilion inside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The Hall of Leaders award recognizes individuals in the meetings, conventions, exhibitions, hospitality, and travel industry.

BOSTON:  An Evening With Friends, the annual spring gala hosted by the Friends of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston on May 2. Comedian Gary Gulman will provide entertainment.

CHICAGO:  The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau will host a one-day event, "Beach Looks Good on You," at a public spot near Tribune Tower on February 19. The event will include a heated cabana with underwater scenes, bikinis frozen in ice, vending machines dispensing sunglasses, and more.

YoungArts Week Miami begins today and continues through February 17. NEW YORK:  The Tony Awards named Hugh Jackman as the host of its 68th annual show June 8 at Radio City Music Hall. It will be his fourth time hosting the awards, which will air live on CBS.

The Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center will host the 23rd annual Bunny Hop March 4 at 583 Park Avenue. Gucci is sponsoring, and the children's event will include live animal shows, magicians, balloon artists, and a juggler from the Big Apple Circus.

The Actors Fund’s annual gala is April 28 at the New Amsterdam Theatre, followed by a post-performance cast party at the New York Marriott Marquis. The event will honor Disney Theatrical Productions as it marks 20 years on Broadway.

Chelsea Clinton will be a featured speaker at this year's New York City Go Red for Women Luncheon March 4 at the New York Hilton Midtown, the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement announced.

Cory Rosenberg has been named regional director for national and global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) accounts for NYC & Company. He will focus on the West Coast, Southwest, and International MICE markets.

TORONTO:  York Mills Gallery announced it will host its grand opening on August 1. The 15,000-square-foot loft-style space seats 450 guests or holds 600 for cocktails.

WASHINGTON:  Art Soiree’s fifth annual Singles Valentine’s Night is Friday at the Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown. The evening will include an art exhibition by Patric Ross, portrait sessions, and entertainment from DJ Agent Max.
