The Breast Cancer Research Foundation highlighted the annual Boston edition of its Hot Pink Party with a kickoff reception at the David Yurman Copley boutique on March 16. "Guests were invited to an evening of shopping and cocktails to celebrate [the foundation] and the upcoming Boston Hot Pink Party," said Lucretia Gilbert, director of development and special events for the New York-based foundation. "David Yurman believes in the mission of Breast Cancer Research Foundation and is a sponsor of [the gala]," slated for May 17 at the Museum of Fine Arts.
WCVB Channel 5's Kelley Tuthill and foundation president Myra Biblowit thanked the 100 guests in a short speech, and the designer himself greeted partygoers as they shopped his jewelry collection, with 10 percent of proceeds benefiting the foundation.
The David Yurman team produced the event and incorporated Breast Cancer Research Foundation and David Yurman branding through signage and on bite-size chocolates by Max Ultimate Food, which had "DY" monograms.
