Available for buyout, Forum is a bilevel restaurant and cocktail lounge that opened in July in the Back Bay. The space is accessed via floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open up onto Boylston Street, the neighborhood’s main thoroughfare.
The venue holds 120 guests for a seated function and 300 for a cocktail reception. Additionally, a café space that opens onto a patio on the first level can be roped off for receptions with 60 guests. A first-floor lounge, with a communal table and high-definition televisions, can hold 50.
Origami-inspired metal walls decorate the second floor, and large vertical windows offer natural light and views of the city below. The upper level has a private dining room that accommodates 40 seated guests or 50 for a cocktail reception. The room has its own bar and an iPad-controlled 100-inch high-definition projection screen with laptop hookups.
The restaurant is known for an innovative cocktail program, and its mixologists concoct drinks with fresh herbs dangling from plants suspended above the first-floor bar. Progressive American menu specialties include B.L.T. soup and house-made ricotta gnocchi.
