On the hunt for employee gifts or ideas for entertaining an intimate group? Try one of these four luxe, celebratory spa experiences.
1. The 18,000-square-foot, two-level Vdara Health & Beauty at the Vdara Hotel & Spa at CityCenter is offering a couple of wintry treatments: The candy cane scalp treatment is a $40 add-on to any salon service. Peppermint stimulates the scalp and contributes to feelings of alertness and wakefulness—an appropriate gift for a conventioneer or meeting attendee. The candy cane manicure and pedicure is another invigorating treatment; top it off with the Holiday Glow collection of colors by SpaRitual ($110 for both). The spa, salon, and fitness center has amenities like men's and women's locker rooms, each with a sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and hot plunges. There are also a champagne and smoothie bar, and groups can get together in the meditation and relaxation rooms. Each group is accommodated individually, but there aren't group rates on treatments.
2. The Hard Rock's Reliquary spa offers a signature treatment known as its precious metals facial. The treatment is intended to brighten and renew the skin—which could come in handy after a year of hard work. The treatment leaves the skin smooth and glimmering with a dusting of silver and gold tones from the Fleur's line of mineral powders. An 80-minute treatment is $225. Another treatment that could be a good gift for a frequent traveler is the fountain of youth facial, 50 minutes for $140, which uses SkinCeuticals products and is meant to boost skin's circulation as an antidote to air travel or stress.
3. The spa at Aria is offering a new, Vegas-appropriate "5-Diamond Gemstone Facial," launching at the end of the month. The 50- or 80-minute treatment applies fine gems and botanicals blended in oils and creams, meant to renew the skin and to offer anti-aging properties. Then, a serum rich in micronized diamonds and orchid extract is spot-treated to smooth fine lines. A thermal liftoff masque with exotic rose and peony extracts is the final step. The Spa & Salon at Aria has private spa suites right for a group; there's an additional spa suite fee of $40 per hour, with a three-hour minimum required for packages, which include the use of the vanity and lockers, body and face amenities, spa sandals and robes, steam shower, food and beverages, three-person hydrotherapy tub, relaxation lounge area, flat-screen television, overhead sound system, and a personalized spa host.
4. For winter, the staff at the Spa at Trump suggests a hot stone massage or the cocoon mud bath (exfoliation and mud wrap, finished off with a Trump Bath Therapy). The 11,000-square-foot spa has nine treatment rooms and a hair and nail salon. Adjoining the property’s pool and fitness center, the venue can accommodate small groups for spa events in the nine treatment rooms.
