Pepsi and Billboard Summer Beats Concert Series

On Wednesday night, Pepsi and Billboard hosted the third installment of the Summer Beats concert series at New York's Gotham Hall, where a wall at the entrances allowed guests to contribute their own messages, drawings, and signatures. Graffiti-style designs by Artkek Creative surrounding the series' logo served as the eye-catching starting point, which attendees added to throughout the event.

Rafanelli Events turned a Tampa nightclub into the Huffington Post Oasis at the Republican National Convention. The space, which was open Monday through Thursday for delegates and credentialed media, offered complimentary massages, facial, yoga, food, and nap pods.

Civic Entertainment Group chose a raw space in a parking garage to create the CNN Grill, a restaurant and mobile studio for the network at the Republican National Convention. The space had a dirt floor and no utilities when they began work in mid-July.

The Wednesday-night bash from Pepsi and Billboard at New York's Gotham Hall honored the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's Bad album. At the events guests could don King of Pop-inspired garb and have their photo taken alongside a computer-generated image of late singer.

Evian “Instawalk” at the U.S. Open

As a way to create a more organic conversation with consumers through its sponsorship of the U.S. Open tennis tournament, Evian invited three of the most followed New Yorkers on Instagram to Queens for a day. The private tour of the tennis center on Thursday, included a stop at Wilson’s racquet stringing area and the roof of Arthur Ashe stadium.

Trukfit at Magic

On August 20 Pearl Media mapped 3-D projections of clothing to mannequins for the display of Lil Wayne’s Trukfit line at Magic in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Virtual images of brightly colored T-shirts, patterned pants, and baseball caps were shone onto the white figures, which had shorts, trousers, shirts, and hats molded to their shapes.

Moët & Chandon Lounge at the U.S. Open

For its second year as the official champagne of the U.S. Open tennis tournament, Moët & Chandon Lounge built an elegant outdoor lounge on the grounds of the U.S.T.A. National Tennis Center. The space, which included a bar and comfy white couches, had a sleek display of the L.V.M.H.-owned brand’s bottles of bubbly alongside a chandelier of champagne flutes.

Canteen Relaunch

Canteen, a division of Compass Group North America, hosted a 260-guest soiree on August 21 to introduce recent brand changes to employees, clients, and partners. The company turned Fulton's on the River in Chicago into a celebratory setting that channeled the Mad Men era with retro snacks including push-up pies in nostalgic flavors such as banana cream, cookies and cream, and mixed berry parfait.

Timberland Michigan Avenue Store Opening

Timberland celebrated its Chicago opening with an in-store fete on August 22, and to underscore the brand’s natural, earthy vibe, organizers set up an organic beverage bar. Drinks were made with Veev organic spirits and specialty juices, and served in mason jars. Garnishes included fresh herbs and skewers of tomatoes soaked in vodka and dusted with sea salt.
