Here's a look at new Las Vegas eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this spring. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fund-raisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, teambuilding activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
6. Sadelle’s

Sadelle’s, a vintage restaurant staple in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, opened at the Bellagio in December. Managed by Major Food Group, the 10,000-square-foot restaurant specializes in bagels and smoked-fish platters, triple-decker sandwiches, and all-day caviar offerings. The interior, designed by Ken Fulk, showcases colorful pastels and bespoke touches meant to evoke a café on an old European boulevard. The restaurant seats 350 guests total and 32 in a private dining room.

1. On The Record

Speakeasy and club On The Record opened at Park MGM in December. The 11,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor venue, which was designed by Los Angeles-based nightlife moguls Jonnie and Mark Houston, features elements inspired by music nostalgia including framed vinyl albums and a record store entrance. The venue also features a commissioned 1963 Bristol Lodekka double-decker bus that was converted into a DJ booth and bar on an outdoor patio. The space offers three full-service bars, multiple staging areas for live performances, and three private karaoke rooms. The venue holds as many as 900 guests standing.

2. Top of the World

Top of the World restaurant, located on the 106th floor of Stratosphere, Casino, Hotel & Tower, completed a renovation in December. The seafood and steak restaurant, known for its 360-degree views of the Las Vegas strip, offers a new menu by chefs Johnny Church and Pawan Pinisetti. The 11,731-square-foot restaurant now features dining tables with a Kinon surface design, new chairs and reupholstered furniture in shades of gray and blue, a redesigned lobby, and a full sound system upgrade. The venue seats 362 guests in the dining area and 150 guests at the 107 Lounge, which can be roped off for private events.

3. NoMad Las Vegas

NoMad Las Vegas, the third iteration of the NoMad hotels brand, opened at the Park MGM in October. The hotel, created by the Sydell Group in partnership with Make It Nice restaurant group, features 293 rooms designed by French architect Jacques Garcia. Similar to the New York and Los Angeles properties, the hotel has the NoMad Restaurant and NoMad Bar, managed by chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara. The hotel has more than 2,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space, including the Parlour, which holds 100 reception style; the Salon cocktail bar, which holds 60 reception style; and the Cellar, which holds 30 for receptions. The hotel also offers full buyouts of the NoMad Restaurant for as many as 400 guests standing, and it offers its pool area as an event space for reception-style events of 350 guests.

4. Core Arena at the Plaza

Core Arena at the Plaza Hotel & Casino, the first permanent equestrian and multipurpose facility in downtown Las Vegas, opened in December. The facility has two arenas: the 150- by 250-foot main arena, and a 50- by 250-foot second arena. After it opened, the venue hosted a variety of events for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. In addition to equestrian events and rodeos, the venue can host a variety of outdoor events including paintball competitions, demolition derbies, and monster truck racing. The venue has a maximum seating capacity of 3,000.

5. Catch Las Vegas

Catch Las Vegas, a globally-inspired seafood concept with locations in New York and Los Angeles, opened at the Aria Resort & Casino in November. The restaurant, which was designed by the Rockwell Group, welcomes guests with an 80-foot-long arched pergola entrance lined with foliage and flower walls. The interior features a nature-inspired, Mediterranean aesthetic with an olive tree centerpiece and a rustic gray wood trellis that hangs over the main dining area. The restaurant also features a bar space with a 16-foot-tall vaulted ceiling. The restaurant seats 155 guests in the main dining room; 60 guests at the bar; 40 guests in a private dining room; and 80 guests in a private lounge.

7. Mott 32

Hong Kong-based restaurant Mott 32 opened its first U.S. outpost at the Palazzo at the Venetian Resort in December. The restaurant, which is named after 32 Mott Street General Store in New York’s Chinatown, specializes in upscale Cantonese cuisine overseen by group executive chef Man-Sing Lee. The interior design, helmed by Joyce Wang, pays tribute to Las Vegas with elements including a dining table made out of a vintage roulette wheel and a chandelier decorated with a feather boa. The 11,715-square-foot restaurant seats 242 guests and has five private dining rooms.

8. Best Friend

Best Friend, a restaurant from chef Roy Choi inspired by Los Angeles’ Koreatown, opened at Park MGM in December. The restaurant specializes in elevated Korean versions of bodega food and welcomes guests with a functioning liquor store entrance that leads to the dining room. The 7,793-square-foot restaurant seats 320 guests. The restaurant also features a 12-seat private dining room inspired by Andy Warhol’s New York studio, with foiled walls and a ceiling created with aluminum paneling. The room overlooks the casino floor.

9. Diablo’s Cantina

Diablo’s Cantina, the Mexican restaurant that used to be located at the former Monte Carlo (now Park MGM), reopened at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in December. Located at the former Tacos & Tequila space, the restaurant serves dishes and cocktails inspired by Mexico City, from a menu created by executive chef Saul Ortiz. The restaurant features a red, green, and purple color scheme, and showcases an abstract sombrero sculpture and murals inspired by sugar skulls and Mexican culture. The venue seats 200 guests in the main dining room and as many as 40 in a private dining room.

10. Vdara Club Lounge

Vdara Club Lounge at Vdara Hotel & Spa, a secluded lounge that caters to business travelers, meetings, and convention groups, opened in January. The 2,200-square-foot space is exclusive to guests staying in select suites, or to guests who opt in for an additional fee starting at $125 per night. The lounge, which seats 67 people, offers complimentary bites with a changing menu throughout the day, a social hour with complimentary cocktails, and collaborative workspaces with business services.
