Here's a look at new Las Vegas eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces for all types of summer entertaining and events. The new and renovated Las Vegas venues are available for corporate parties, fund-raisers, outdoor events, business dinners, teambuilding activities, client entertaining, meetings, weddings, and more.
Kaos

Kaos, a massive dayclub and nightclub, opened at Palms Casino Resort in April. Part of the resort’s $690 million renovation, the sprawling venue includes a 73,000-square-foot dayclub that features two main pools, five poolside bars, and a 65-foot bronze sculpture by Damien Hirst called “Demon with Bowl,” which serves as the venue focal point. The dayclub also offers 39 cabanas and hosts receptions for as many as 4,000 people. The 29,000-square-foot nightclub was designed by Rockwell Group and has a sound system that syncs to a light and special effects display. The nightclub has five bars, 59 private tables, and a reception capacity of 2,200.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club

Comedian and late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel partnered with Caesars Entertainment to open Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club at the LINQ Promenade in May. The 8,000-square-foot venue aims to capture the spirit of Kimmel’s hometown of Las Vegas, hosting late-night comedy shows and offering memorabilia and casual cuisine. The venue also has a bar that is a replica of the bar in Kimmel’s home. The dual-level venue is available for private events and seats 54 guests on the first floor and 300 guests on the second floor. With a special event permit, the second floor can hold as many as 480 guests for receptions.

Vanderpump Cocktail Garden

Bravo TV personality and restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump has taken her brand of Los Angeles restaurants and bars to Sin City. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules star opened Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace in April. The venue combines greenery, industrial touches, and Vanderpump’s signature touches of pink, and it specializes in craft cocktails and small bites. Available for full buyouts, the venue can hold events for as many as 150 reception style. Additional setups for events include a back lounge that seats 50 or holds 70 standing and a patio that seats 50.

Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails

Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, a barbershop and speakeasy, opened in the former Bond space at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in March. Guests can sip classic cocktails while they get a haircut or a shave at the Prohibition-inspired venue, which was designed by Celano Design Studio and Marnell Companies. For events, the 1,900-square-foot venue holds as many as 130 people standing and is available for full buyouts. The venue is helmed by Clique Hospitality founder Andy Masi, along with Ryan Labbe and Jason Craig.

Smith & Wollensky

Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, an American steakhouse franchise based in Boston, opened Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas in May. The two-story restaurant specializes in traditional steakhouse fare, wine, and cocktails, and offers a variety of seating arrangements for guests. The venue has an 18-seat bar, a lounge with leather-tufted booths and Lincoln chairs, and a glass-enclosed private dining room that overlooks the bar and promenade. The room is one of several private dining rooms equipped with audiovisual accommodations. The restaurant holds private events for groups of 40 to 500 guests.

Greene St. Kitchen

Greene St. Kitchen opened at the Palms Resort Casino in April. Helmed by Clique Hospitality, the restaurant and bar pays tribute to New York’s SoHo neighborhood through food and decor, which includes rare street art and an original Banksy work. The entrance of the venue is a speakeasy-style video arcade room with a tunnel that leads to the main dining area. The venue has indoor-outdoor seating at a bar area that holds as many as 80 guests; a dining room that seats 120 guests; a lounge that seats 20 guests; and a private dining room that seats 28. The 6,925-square-foot venue is available for full buyouts of as many as 350 people standing.

Craft & Community

Craft & Commuity opened inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in April. Occupying the former Culinary Dropout space, the restaurant is operated by the Morton Group and specializes in American comfort food. The restaurant offers more than 6,000 square feet of dining space with an additional 3,000-square-foot patio, and it also has garage-style doors that open directly to the resort’s pool. The restaurant seats as many as 320 guests.

Blvd & Main Taphouse and View Lounge

Blvd & Main Taphouse and View Lounge opened at the Strat Hotel, Casino, and SkyPod in March. The 6,000-square-foot taphouse specializes in elevated pub cuisine and craft beer and holds 450 guests reception style. The separate, 3,000-square-foot View Lounge serves craft cocktails and small bites and holds 250 for receptions. The venues are located on the casino floor next to the William Hill Sports Book.

Las Vegas Ballpark

Las Vegas Ballpark opened in downtown Summerlin in April. The park is home to the Las Vegas Aviators, a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team and, along with sports events, also hosts community and nonprofit events. Designed by HOK, the facility holds many as 10,000 people and has numerous seating areas, including 22 suites, multiple party zones and decks, and a pool.

Maxie’s

American restaurant Maxie's opened next to the High Roller at the Linq Promenade in March. Operated by Hospitality Boulevard, the restaurant offers a twist on classic breakfast, lunch, and dinner cuisine, with dishes such as cotton candy pancakes, Fruity Pebbles French toast, and a stuffed biscuit and gravy sandwich. The restaurant seats 250 guests in the main dining room and 100 on a patio.
