Miami to Host James Beard Foundation Event

On September 28 and 29, Miami will join 20 other U.S. cities in hosting the James Beard Foundation's Taste America, a national food festival celebrating the culinary organization's 20th anniversary and the legacy of chef and food writer James Beard. The Miami events will include a cocktail party and dinner on Friday at Mandarin Oriental's Azul and an educational session at Williams-Sonoma in Merrick Park on Saturday. Tickets for Friday are limited to 100 guests and priced at $240 per person, a portion of which will go to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
