5. Lantao Social Club

Located in the front lobby of the Surfcomber Hotel in South Beach, Lantao Social Club has a lounge that can accommodate 100 guests and two patios that can accommodate 20. It serves a cocktail menu with Asian-inspired flavors.

1. Studio 743

This just-opened South Beach spot features a dramatic entrance with a water feature and a towering, colorfully lit obelisk. The space has 6,000 square feet of event space with a capacity of 245 seated and 550 standing. It has two entry lounges for crowd control, plus V.I.P. access and audiovisual capabilities including interior programmable, multicolored LED lighting and exterior uplighting of the facade and tower.

2. Miami Airport Convention Center

The recently renovated 172,000-square-foot facility is Miami’s second-largest convention and exhibition facility. It includes a 29,000-square-foot ballroom, 75,000 square feet of exhibition space that can host more than 400 trade show booths, and design upgrades that included a new entrance lobby, lighting, restrooms, and flooring.

3. Estiatorio Milos

The latest outpost of Milos, Estiatorio Milos, by Costas Spiliadis, opened in May featuring a 13,000-pound, hand-cut marble art installation on the wall. The restaurant offers diners a view of the fish market display and gives them the opportunity to pick and price their own food. Meetings can be held in their private room for up 60 seated guests.

4. iPic Theaters Boca Raton

The eight theaters at iPic have capacities of 44-82 seats and have PowerPoint-presentation capabilities, digital projection, and other technology. Corporate events such as presentations or lectures must finish before noon, when the theaters begin showing films. Tanzy Express provides catering for iPic Theaters.

6. Briza on the Bay

Overlooking the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay, Briza on the Bay opened this spring at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay. The 5,000-square-foot venue has audiovisual equipment and sound and light effects, and offers full catering. It can hold 340 guests for dinner and 600 guests for reception.

7. TIKL Raw Bar & Grill

The team behind Miami Beach’s Altamare is opening TIKL Raw Bar & Grill in downtown Miami later this month. The 3,500-square-foot eatery, which will be available for buyouts, accommodates 95 guests in the dining room and an additional 40 in an outdoor beer garden. TIKL's menu will offer a menu of small plates and share plates.

8. Privet

Privet, a Russian-inspired lounge featuring aerialists, go-go dancers, international DJs, two V.I.P. bars, and a menu featuring global tapas and sushi. The space opened June 23 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach.

9. La Gloutonnerie

Serving classic French cuisine, La Gloutonnerie is a French restaurant in South Beach with a laid-back decor. The space, which is filled with black-and-white photos and globe light fixtures, has two private dining rooms. The first private room is 900 square feet and can accommodate 40 guests; the other is 1,000 square feet and can accommodate 45 guests.

10. Sanibel Harbour Marriott

Sanibel Harbour Marriott recently introduced a dinner cruise option for groups. The 100-foot Sanibel Harbour Princess accommodates 130 guests and offers cocktails paired with spa treatments such as a cucumber mojito paired with a Cucumber-Infused Heel Reliever Foot Massage.
