For furry, four-legged partygoers, the special event season is in full swing. The New York Times reported that pet supply store Fetch held an annual Doggie Ice Cream Social complete with "chicken-flavored soy ice cream served on the sidewalk," and more pup events are planned by the Corner Bookstore on Madison Avenue and the Four Paws Club on Bleecker. And it's clear that New Yorkers love their canine companions: We've attended a few dog-centric events, including Bide-A-Wee's Have a Heart gala at the Pierre, the ASPCA benefit dog brunch hosted by Cindy Adams and the Westminster Dog Show celebration at Tavern on the Green hosted by Liz Smith and Iris Love.
