Fashion Week producer 7th on Sixth is spreading the series of fashion shows and parties all over town. Now an arm of conglomerate IMG, 7th on Sixth is cutting the official show venues--usually housed in Bryant Park--from four to two, and cutting the number of time slots from almost 100 to 24, according to The New York Post. Meanwhile, show producer Rand.m Productions is looking to coordinate alternative, off-site locations for designers who don't get invited to the tents. Decentralizing the shows is said to hurt attendance at shows by young designers forced to show off-site, although big players Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Marc Jacobs won't be showing in the tents, either.
