The Grammy awards' return to New York next February was feted with a celebratory powwow attended by tourism, music and entertainment industry execs at the Four Seasons restaurant on Wednesday, according to Crain's New York. According to NYC & Company president Jonathan Tisch, the gala will potentially generate up to $40 million for the city, and build-up to the big night will include a kickoff concert at the World Financial Center on January 30, and events at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Lincoln Center and the Apollo Theater.
