Meet Our Event Planners of the Year (Part Two)

This week we bring you seven more of our 15 Event Planners of the Year. (As the year comes to a close, it seems fitting to look back at some of 2005's highlights, and these folks are also featured in the latest issue of our magazine.)

This week's group features a mix of event marketers: Within the first year of owning her own company, Anastasia Striegel of One Kick LLC has become fashion's new go-to producer, while Julie Mannion and Ed Filipowski lead industry giant KCD, fashion’s first-tier PR and event production firm. This year Fawaz Gruosi of de Grisogono sponsored a series of concerts that helped build sales for the jewelry and watch company, while Jennifer Stark continued to creat unusual, cutting-edge events to match the Brooklyn Academy of Music's eclectic, unconventional programming. Dexter King hosts intimate events to promote Moët Hennessy's top-shelf cognacs. And Kim Krikorian goes to other people's events to put up elaborate installations showing off Swarovski's crystals. We think you'll find some insight in their successful strategies.
