This is the New York outpost of Rio de Janeiro’s Porcao churrascaria. The venue serves Brazilian specialty dishes and has a swirling black and white marble floor inspired by the sidewalk at Rio's Copacabana beach, wall structures inspired by Rio’s Sugarloaf Mountain, and digital lighting. Porcao's most striking decor elements are curving metal structures suspended from the ceiling and lined with neon. The sizeable restaurant is well suited for big groups and seats 290—32 in the bar and 258 in dining room. A large private space for more than 60 is available. Opened in December 2005. —Anna Sekula
